Recruiting Supervisor supervises the activities of the employment department. Oversees a company's recruiting programs, policies, and procedures to develop and utilize various sources of potential applicants to fulfill staffing needs. Being a Recruiting Supervisor reviews and approves content and placement of job postings in newspapers, magazines, trade or professional journals, or online media. Maintains relationships with and visits high schools, trade schools, colleges, job fairs, and related venues as part of recruiting efforts. Summary of Job: Oversee the Recruitment and Training teams in the Human Resources Department. Assist the
Full-Time staff with development of procedures and trainings to execute park goals. Focus on creative ways to recruit
and retain staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Train and assist with the hiring of both trainers and recruiters for the team.
• Develop and communicate training calendars within Human Resources and Park Departments
• Facilitate and evaluate seasonal training programs
• Audit and communicate appropriate training assignments as needed
• Monitor pre-training and post training responsibilities are being completed
• Maintain the Human Resources Training facility
• Communicate and collaborate training information with departments and human resources
• Responsible for developing, organizing, and executing recruiting programs
• Ensuring that all requisitions are posted accurately based on the needs of the departments
• Monitor and edit the Six Flags jobs page with updates based on hiring needs
• Assist with the development and execution of park team member events
• Assist in the onboarding of seasonal employees
• Complete and analyze audits needed for training and staffing needs
• Assist other areas of Human Resources and other departments as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
• Minimum Age: 18
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
• Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software
• Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others
• High School Diploma or equivalent
