Restaurant General Manager Requirements

• Oversee day-to-day operations for both the back and front of the house.
• Maintain quality and consistency in restaurant ordering.
• Possess strong planning and organizational skills.
• Demonstrate effective leadership abilities and work well within a team.
• Responsible for hiring and training new employees.
• Uphold team standards and expectations.
• Skillfully schedule staff and assign duties.
• Maintain clear and efficient communication with the team and supervisors.
• Skillfully handle guest complaints.
• Strive to provide an exceptional guest experience.
• Possess intermediate knowledge of wine and craft cocktail programs.
• Effectively lead the team and maintain a positive attitude.
• Proactively handle obstacles and resolve potential issues.

Restaurant General Manager Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience
• High energy and experience with previous sales volume of $4 MM annually
• Desire and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• High level of business awareness for achieving successful performance
