Additionally, Recruiter initiates onboarding plan for new hires. Ensures assigned positions are filled efficiently and effectively. May facilitate orientation for new employees and perform exit interviews for employees leaving the organization. May require a bachelor's degree in human resources. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Recruiter work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our team. In this role, you will scour all available avenues to fill our open positions with the best-qualified candidates. - Conduct in-person, video, and phone interviews
- Attend job fairs and networking events to build a pool of candidates
- Track key performance indicators and report on recruiting metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- Previous experience as a Recruiter, Hiring Specialist, or related position
- Familiarity with multiple interview types (structured, competency-based, stress etc)
- Experience conducting interviews and background checks
- Experience with sourcing tools and techniques
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR databases
- Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills
- Familiarity with labor laws and legislation
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize projects
