  • Job Summary:
    The Recruiter is responsible for owning the full-cycle recruitment efforts for the entire organization through the development of recruitment plans, employing sourcing strategies, and developing new, creative recruiting ideas.  The Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring that the organization is hiring the best possible talent and will be responsible for implementing processes to retain staff and encourage longevity.

    Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:
    • Identify and develop specific recruiting strategies to build an ongoing, ready pipeline of qualified candidates to meet the company’s hiring needs at all times.
    • Partner with hiring managers to develop strategies to proactively recruit and meet hiring needs.
    • Review existing hiring and interviewing practices and make recommendations to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
    • Generate new candidate leads through direct recruiting on job boards, sourcing, networking, and advertising.
    • Create job advertisements and post openings with professional organizations, colleges, and other position-appropriate venues.
    • Manage the entire candidate process from initial phone screening to the offer stage and completion of the pre-employment process.
    • Regularly meet with hiring managers to discuss openings as well as updates on candidate pipelines.
    • Create handouts and materials for job fairs. Attend job fairs and/or hiring events.
    • Perform pre-employment meetings for all potential employees including LiveScan fingerprint rolling, pre-employment physical/drug screen, background check, MVR clearance, etc.
    • Input employee data into HRIS software as needed.
    • Collect and process I-9 documentation utilizing E-Verify.
    • Organize and ensure all new hire & orientation paperwork is completed accurately and fully.
    • Ensure the careers page is consistently updated reflecting accurate job openings.
    • Report weekly applicant metrics.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Education:
    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred.
    • At least 2 years of recruitment/HR experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment preferred.
    • The ability to read, write, and understand the English language. Bilingual preferred.
    • Proficient in using Microsoft Suite and other standard office software.
    • HRIS experience preferred; Paycom a plus.

    Physical Requirements/Work Environment
    This job operates in an office environment. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit.
