Recreational Therapy Director directs the programs and staff of the recreational therapy department including policies and procedures. The Clinic Director is responsible for leading the clinic through ATIs mission, vision and values to develop a high performing team which consistently delivers growth and extraordinary customer outcomes. In this role, you will have a direct reporting relationship to ATIs District Director. This is a management role where you will be responsible for day to day operations of the clinic, supervision of clinic staff as well as patient treatment. The Clinic Director role may span management of between approximately 1-3 clinics.
Responsibilities Include:
- Meet or exceed clinic goals related to operational performance metrics as directed by your manager
- Responsible for clinic staffing levels
- Serve as the liaison between clinic staff and the district leadership team
- Cultivate relationships with patients and the community
- Build a team culture which aligns with ATIs mission
- Support development of team members to ensure high performance. This includes feeling comfortable in providing critical feedback when necessary and annual performance development discussions
- Develop individualized plans of care and treat patients through all phases of physical therapywith an emphasis towards compassionate, comprehensive and evidenced based approaches, restoring patients to full functionality
- Complete daily patient care, progress and discharge notes
- Provide continuous communication with referring physicians and other referral sources
- Maintain clinical logs and checklists necessary for compliance
- Schedule management
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college
- Excellent patient care and communication skills with the ability to multitask while providing an exceptional experience for anyone that enters the clinic
- Exhibit a passion for physical therapy and patient outcomes
- Natural born leader with the ability to drive performance and motivate employees
- Proficient in basic technology such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and feel comfortable reviewing reports and metrics
- Ability to stand, stoop and move throughout the clinic for the entire assigned shift
- Must be licensed, or license eligible in their respective clinic state
- The Clinic Director must encompass strong time-management skills and have the ability to seamlessly follow company directives to ensure continuity across clinics
