Description

Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager and consultative supervision of the Occupational Therapy Practice Manager, The Recreational Therapist is responsible for providing quality care in accordance with the Occupational Therapy treatment plan.

Required qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited Recreational Therapy professional program. Or equivalent educ/experience
• Comparable education approved by the National Therapeutic Recreation Society.
• Upon hire: National Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist - National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred qualifications:

• Upon hire: Professional membership
