Group 6 from $18.23 to $23.67 per hour
Position Purpose: Responsible for elementary student files leaving the district, maintaining the student information system and working with Elementary Electronic Progress Reports, and providing student information system support.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain post high school transcripts
- Send out high school transcripts for post graduate students (alumni)
- Send elementary records out of district as needed
- Work with the Teaching and Learning Department on maintaining elementary standards in PowerSchool for progress reports
- Provide graduation verification information to businesses
- Help desk for district student information system
- Assist in maintenance of district student data
- Train users in maintenance of student data
- Backup for issuing FOBs for door access and printing elementary student bus badges
- Backup for Student Information Support Technician, running checks
- Monitor hiring workflows for new staff needing access
- Provide monthly immunization reports
- Provide PowerSchool technical support as needed for staff and parents
- Monitor elementary new registrations over summer break to ensure pre-registration forms are accepted in a timely manner
- Participate in all mandatory training or training appropriate to the position as required by the district
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three years working in a school environment or other relatable experience.
- Ability to operate a computer and related software
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing and the ability to interact positively with schools and community
- Ability to handle a multitude of responsibilities with minimal supervision
