Receptionist jobs in Utah
Receptionist greets visitors and maintains visitor logs. Completes security procedures such as issuing badges or visitor passes. Being a Receptionist performs administrative activities such as booking meeting rooms, arranging transportation, receiving and sending mail and packages. Responds to internal and external inquiries. Additionally, Receptionist may provide back up for clerical projects or route phone calls. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Receptionist works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. - Schedules appointments for multiple providers
- Understands billing policies and collects payments for services rendered
- Updates and maintains all patient registration records
- Maintains provider schedules between four offices
- Directs all visitors to appropriate departments
- Monitors and maintains office equipment
- Cleans front reception area
- Maintains HIPAA compliance
- Prepares correspondence and documents
- Provides general clerical and administrative support to all levels of professionals.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related goals
