Position Summary
This position is responsible for providing administrative, accounting and back up support services to the business facility to include clerical duties, customer support, and dispatch tasks. Must abide by Company Safety Program and Policies, while performing duties safely.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited, the following:
Assists staff by providing customer support services by answering incoming telephone calls, determining purpose of calls, and forwarding calls to appropriate personnel or department.
Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable. Assists in projects that require additional assistance.
Provide customer service support for accounts and assist with discrepancies that may need adjustment. Assure accuracy and timely response to accounts requiring assistance.
Assure radio calls are answered promptly according to procedures.
Dispatch cement tankers, gravel truck and pups, and gravel straight trucks.
Answers incoming phone calls from customers. Takes orders for Sand & Gravel, including amount, delivery, address, time of delivery or anything relevant to the order.
Assure all Sand & Gravel and Ready Mixed tickets are priced according to guidelines for accuracy and completeness. Invoice tickets daily and in a timely manner.
Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as typing, filing, photocopying, collating, purchasing supplies and assuring office equipment is maintained and in working order.
