Marwaha Real Estate LLC is a privately held investment company who manages and owns residential and commercial assets across Richmond and Petersburg area.

POSITION OVERVIEW: Maintenance works closely with the Portfolio Manager in overseeing single family houses and apartments spread over Richmond and Petersburg area. Hours are Monday–Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• General maintenance duties including HVAC repair and installations (recommended but not required), appliance repair, plumbing, electrical, painting, dry wall, and grounds keeping as needed
• Candidates must be willing to work an on-call rotation.
• Completing apartment turnovers and service orders.
• Assisting with preventative maintenance programs.
• Cultivate a strong team relationship with office and maintenance staff.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver’s License and vehicle required.
• HVAC certification and CFC recommended but not required. .
• 1-3 years previous maintenance experience in a residential community, or similar.
• Physical requirements: Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations. Must be able/willing to climb ladders and/or on roofs to access HVAC units.
• Successful candidates must be able to pass a background check.
