    Basic Requirements for the Commercial Real Estate Attorney:
    • 5 years of commercial real estate experience at a sophisticated law firm or in-house with a commercial real estate company
    • Experience should include negotiating and drafting broad range of commercial real estate agreements, such as leases, purchase and sale agreements, conveyance documents, development agreements and ancillary documents related to real estate developments, entitlements, as well as handling title and survey review, environmental due diligence, and real estate financing
    • Excellent analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal skills
    • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
    • Excellent academic credentials
    • Outstanding professional references
    • Active member of a state bar in good standing
    • Spanish fluency is a plus but not required
    Position Details of the Real Estate Attorney:
    • Type of Role: Engagement
    • Schedule: Flexible (part-time to full-time or anything in between)
    • Location: Fully remote with preference for NJ, NY, PA and FL licensed attorneys
    Compensation:
    • Pay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $175,000 to $220,000 or more when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).
    • Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude Attorneys and other legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage. All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20 hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
