**Job Title:** Associate Attorney – Real Estate
**Job Type:** Full-Time
**Location:** Western North Carolina
**Salary Range:** $60,000 to $80,000 per year
**Job Overview:**
Join our esteemed law firm in Western North Carolina, focusing on real estate, estate law, and civil litigation. We are seeking a motivated Associate Real Estate Attorney ready to contribute to our dynamic team. Ideal candidates will be residents of Western NC or willing to relocate. This hybrid role includes occasional in-office training with some travel to meet clients across multiple locations, including 2 offices and courthouses in surrounding counties.

**Responsibilities:**
- Expertise in residential closings for both buyer and seller sides
- Ability to understand and read closing disclosures and HUD.
- Experience with mortgages and drafting deeds and legal descriptions.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties
- Understanding of land issues and real property matters, with training available to enhance knowledge in these areas
**Requirements:**
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the North Carolina State Bar or eligibility for admission
- 2 years of experience in real estate law
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in legal research and writing
