The role of the Leasing Specialist is to assist the Property Manager in all aspects of leasing including but not limited to, greeting prospects, showing available units, qualifying prospects, lease preparation, updating availability reports, resident retention, and renewals. The Leasing Specialist will also work in conjunction with the Property Manager to maintain a high level of service and communication to the property owner(s), tenants, and vendors involved with the property.
Requirements
1 to 3 years of experience as a Leasing Specialist
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills and Rent Manager program knowledge,
Excellent communication, customer service and tenant relation skills
General knowledge of tenant/landlord law
Must pass background check and drug screening
