The company provides testing services to the Pharmaceutical/Biotech, Medical Device and OTC/Personal Care industries. BioScreen has established itself as a leading cGMP contract-testing laboratory. The company is focused on the highest quality standards and has obtained laboratory approval to test pharmaceutical products for many of the industries leading companies. BioScreen has multiple positions open in the chemistry department.
The Chemistry Department provides development, verification and validation of analytical test methods and testing of Drug Substances, Drug Products, Excipients, Impurities, Medical Devices, Personal Care Products and Water samples.
Chemistry Analyst 3
Analysts are responsible for preparing and analyzing personal care and pharmaceutical products using common laboratory instruments. Analysts will perform testing per USP, EP, and other compendial and proprietary methods. Analysts must have hands on experience in one or more of the following: GC, HPLC, AA, ICP, UV-Vis, FTIR, TOC, Polarimetry, Titration, and UV-Vis analysis. Analysts will handle chemical reagents, solvents and standards, some of which may be hazardous and cytotoxic. Analysts will follow strict laboratory safety procedures and follow cGMPs, ICH and DEA government regulations. They will assist in set up, calibration and troubleshooting instruments.
The ideal candidate must possess at minimum a BS degree in Chemistry or related field with more 3 years’ experience preferred, have excellent communication skills and be a fast learner with ability to multi-task. Analysts must be available on weekends when needed.
All positions require dedicated team players with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary range: $31.00 - $33.00
