Ranch Manager manages the overall daily operations of a farm/ranch. Provides supervision and direction to staff. Being a Ranch Manager is responsible for purchasing tools, equipment and materials. Duties:
We are a non-profit animal welfare organization. Maintaining a clean and serene environment while ensuring animal housings are safe.
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment, such as tractors, loaders, and mowers
-Maintain and repair fences, gates, and other ranch infrastructure
- Assist with the care and feeding of livestock
- Operate and maintain equipment for lawn and gardening task.
- Use hand tools for gardening and landscaping tasks
- Assist with planting, growing, and harvesting crops
- Operate power tools for various ranch maintenance tasks-
-Light carpentry skills a plus
- Perform heavy lifting as needed for equipment, feed and supplies
Experience:
- Mechanical knowledge for operating and maintaining heavy equipment
- Experience in operating heavy equipment such as tractors or loaders
- Ability to maintain fences, gates, and other ranch infrastructure
- Familiarity with greenhouse operations for plant propagation
- Proficiency in using hand tools for gardening and landscaping tasks
- Knowledge of planting, growing, and harvesting crops
- Experience in operating power tools for maintenance tasks
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required
