Ranch Pizza is looking to hire a full-time salaried General Manager! This position will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of all aspects of the store. We are looking for a strong leader with great communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive management mindset. The ability to solve new problems as they arise while following company guidelines is a must. We emphasize treating our employees with consistency, clarity, fairness and respect.
Ranch Pizza is a fast casual square pizza restaurant and a local family owned independent chain with 6 locations in the Portland metro area. Our menu is small, and we specialize in Square Pan pizza. The production process is labor intensive, and we make most of our products from scratch, on site at each store, including all of our dough. There is a lot of production but the process is streamlined and straight forward. Experience in high volume from-scratch food production is helpful, ideally 3-5 years. Our ideal candidate must be comfortable dealing with customers, while also working regularly in the kitchen.
We offer base salary, employer subsidized health insurance (60% covered by employer) after 60 days, PTO, state mandated sick time, mileage reimbursement and regular reviews with potential for salary increases.
Role and Responsibilities:
Ensure proper training of all staff members according to company practices and procedures.
Evaluate interviewee/stage performance and skill level as a part of the hiring process.
Coordinate and be available for shift coverage due to call-outs, including on scheduled days off when needed
Document and report employee work performance and HR related issues
Create quarterly specials and curate beverage program
Maintain adequate supply of purchased and prepared products for normal business operations.
Ensure that the shop is meeting local, state and food safety regulations as well as keeping up with company standards of cleanliness, organization, and mechanical operability.
Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high quality and consistency standards of food and beverage products, and addressing customer concerns appropriately.
Enforce routine maintenance and deep cleaning schedules with store staff, address equipment issues and maintenance as needed.
Ensures store location is operating within food and labor cost budgets laid out by the operations team
Complete regular shift duties as needed
Administrative Duties:
Compose daily end-of-day (EOD) reports.
Attend weekly meetings with Ops Manager to discuss and coordinate business needs.
Being responsive to Owners, Ops Manager and HRs immediate needs via Slack and email.
Maintaining up to date recipes, ordering guides, procedures and common practices guides and documents, including creating new ones as needed.
Review Based Deliverables:
Overall wellbeing, support, and growth of employees, turnover rate
Store specific cost metrics, including food and labor
Maintaining food and operations quality and consistency, store cleanliness, organization
Current and future expected workload and demands of the job
