Key Responsibilities:
· Receiving and Unloading: Receive incoming shipments from suppliers or production facilities. Unload goods from trucks and ensure their proper placement within the warehouse. Verify the accuracy of received items against packing lists and purchase orders.
· Warehouse Organization: Organize and arrange products within the warehouse, optimizing space utilization.
· Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and free from hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
· Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues to maintenance staff.
· Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow. Communicate effectively to resolve any issues or coordinate tasks.
· Order fulfillment: You'll process customer orders and assemble the required gasket products for shipment. This involves picking the right items from the warehouse shelves, packaging them securely, and preparing them for shipping.
· Packaging and labeling: Properly packaging and labeling gasket products are important for safe transportation and easy identification. You'll need to use appropriate packaging materials and affix accurate labels to each package.
