R.J. Corman Railroad Company has an opening for a Locomotive Mechanic to join our team in Russellville, KY. The candidate will perform maintenance on locomotives, railroad cars, equipment, service repairs, and perform F.R.A. inspections throughout the United States

Responsibilities:

• Locomotive inspections and FRA inspections.
• Locomotive repairs including mechanical, air and electrical.
• Service crane operation.
• Welding and oxygen/acetylene torching.
• Performs preventative maintenance on company locomotives and equipment.
• Freight car repair if necessary.
• General repairs of other equipment if necessary.
• Troubleshoots and repairs equipment as needed.
• Maintain safe and clean work area.

• Experienced in Locomotive and FRA inspections.
• Ability to travel extensively.
• Locomotive repairs including mechanical, air and electrical.
• Knowledge of power and hydraulic tools.
• Welding and oxygen/acetylene torching experience.
• Maintenance of assigned vehicle.
