Radio Mechanic jobs in West Virginia
Radio Mechanic installs, maintains, and repairs radio transmitting and receiving equipment. May require an associate's degree or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Radio Mechanic has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Additionally, Radio Mechanic works under immediate supervision. The MetroNews Radio Network, a division of WVRC Media, is looking for the next addition to our award-winning news department. We are hiring an anchor-reporter for our Charleston, WV office.
The individual will be responsible for statewide and local newscasts, coverage of scheduled and breaking news events, preparations for The Morning News news block and website updates.
The candidate should be self-motivated, have the ability work under deadline pressure and committed to producing high quality radio journalism.
The ideal candidate should have a degree in journalism, broadcasting, communications, or other related field and at have least two years of radio or TV experience.
