Radio Frequency Engineer develops products and technologies related to wireless telecommunications by applying RF and mixed signal capabilities. We are seeking a qualified entry- to mid-level RF Analyst to join our Ballistic Missile Defense Group in our Mooresville, NC or Alexandria, VA office. The Ballistic Missile Defense Group supports a variety of government programs through the modeling, simulation, and analysis of missile intercepts, BMDS radars and BMDS sensor data.

    Candidates should have 2-5 years of experience in RF modeling, simulation, and analysis, with a solid background in digital signal processing and the development and use of analysis tools. The ideal candidate will have experience with RF signature prediction codes and algorithms (Xpatch, SAF, Periodic Method of Moments, ANSYS/HFSS, Cicero, etc.), as well as with high-level programming languages (MATLAB, C, C , Python). All candidates should be self-motivated and show excellent written and oral communication skills.

    Who we want:

    • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
    • BS/MS/PhD in Electrical/Aerospace/Mechanical engineering, Computer Science, Physics or Math
    • 2-5 years of experience with Radio Frequency Signature Analysis, Radar Digital Signal Processing (DSP), Statistical Classification Programming, Electro-Optical Infrared (EO/IR)
    • Proficiency with high-level programming languages such as MATLAB, C, C , or Python
    • Familiarity with Linux is a plus
