We are seeking a Smart, witty and well rounded radio show host for our upcoming medical / Health Radio Show starting in May 2024. This position is best suited for a mature outgoing, and tough interviewer, non-biased, with decorum and diplomacy.
The show platform: Your role will be host and moderator. You will interview guest including Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacist. You will also take calls from listeners who want to ask your guest medical questions. You must adhear to FCC guidelines. Some writing will be required. You will be requied to come into the studio. Other Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly smile upon arrival to the radio station
- Escort guests to their microphones, and help them get comfortable on the mic
- You may need to confirm guest appearance
- Answer phone call-in during the radio segment
- Communicate well with guests and callers
- Research & Write content for show
- Attend Radio Show promotional events (outside of the studio) (sign autographs)
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Radio Show Personality is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with guests in a professional manner
- Basic computer skills a plus
