How You’ll Make an Impact
Develop tooling for orchestrating live stream resource scheduling, configuration, and monitoring
Collaborate with engineers and internal operational groups to help build scalable and robust front end applications and solutions
Provide a user experience that is intuitive and optimized to meet the needs of a 24x7 operation
What You’ll Do
Work with a team of engineers building software in a collaborative development process
Work closely with technical lead and other team members to identify and complete development assignments
Participate in the design process of new features and enhancements to the software platform
Diagnose issues, evaluate and recommend the best resolution, and execute against that plan

What You’ll Need

Minimum Bachelor level degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience
3 years demonstrable professional experience and 2 years developing web applications
Experience defining design tools, processes & direction for crafting web user interfaces
Solid command of web standards, best practices, accessibility, and browser compatibility issues
Experience at debugging code errors and troubleshooting UI issues
Proficient with front-end languages including HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, and CSS
Solid understanding of VueJS, React and related technologies
Experience with Webpack, Vite, or similar, and related JavaScript / TypeScript tooling
Experience working in a 24x7, critical operations environment
Experience in broadcasting, streaming services and/or media engineering; direct experience with live orchestration a plus
Understanding of RESTful interfaces, JSON and XML
Experience with data modeling and simplifying data across multiple sources into a normalized format for driving distinct user experiences
Strong technical, problem-solving, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to “internal client” and customer service principles
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under shifting deadlines
Dedication to thorough testing and creating high quality software
At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $80,000 to $144,200 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
