    Work location:  Onsite in Baltimore, Maryland 21204 with some ability to work remotely 20% of the time
    Duration:  Contract to hire


    Job duties include but are not limited to the following:

    The Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer is responsible for several components of any new site construction as well as monitoring and maintaining the performance of existing sites.  The components of the new construction process include but are not limited to:  creating a search area, selecting a site candidate, filing forms with the FAA and FCC, ordering the necessary site hardware, filing extension agreements with neighboring licensee’s and frequency coordination and planning.  This position is also responsible for RF coverage, radio talk-path capacity, and organizing the logistics of the site additions.  The position also assists with budget preparations and performance troubleshooting.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Point-to-point microwave systems and path analysis is mandatory.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Radio Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent vocational education, training, and experience with formal training in use of relevant administrative and industry specific tools (i.e., computer software and Internet). 
    • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
    • Ability to work onsite in the Baltimore, MD area (zip code 21204)
