    POSITION OVERVIEW
    AITC is seeking a Radio Frequency Engineer to design, manage, and oversee the installation and maintenance of wireless radio communications systems and equipment. Analyzes wireless communications equipment and identifies opportunities to improve the efficiency and dependability of wireless systems.
    RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
    * Provide Land Mobile Radio (LMR) Infrastructure operations and maintenance (O&M) support.
    * Responsibilities may include RF front-end design, radio propagation modeling and prediction, microwave path analysis, interference analysis and filter design, frequency coordination, analog-to-digital converters, site equipment layout, and circuit design.
    * Develops products and technologies related to wireless telecommunications by applying RF and mixed signal capabilities.
    * Develops and executes product testing and integration plans for new or updated products.
    * May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization.
    * Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.
    * Additional duties as assigned.
    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
    * 7 years practical field experience performing aforementioned responsibilities/duties
    * Bachelor's degree in a related field
    * ITIL Foundations within 6 months
    * SECRET Clearance
    * Must be a US citizen
    * Able to work Overtime as required
    * Must be available to travel as required
    * One of the following:
    o A CE
    o CCNA-Security
    o CND
    o Network CE
    o SSCP
    * Must be proficient in installation, repair, alignment, and maintenance of analog and digital trunked radio communications systems
    * Shall have experience with equipment involving microwave radio, digital and analog multiplex equipment, receivers and transmitters, digital and analog receiver voting systems, timing/synchronization oscillator systems, simulcast control systems, computer control systems, TDM console switches, consoles, and mobile and portable radio equipment
    * Knowledge of applicable policy and technical guidance to include:
    o Significant knowledge of ISP, IEEE 802 wireless standards, data switches infrastructure, and design experience in wireless solutions
    o I3A Standards
    o BICSI cabling standards
    o Cyber security
    o EIA/TIA Standards
    o C4IM standards
    PREFERRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
    * Knowledgeable in Army Network Enterprise Center operations
    * Senior (or Master)-level CET Wireless Communications (WCM) or the TRN Wireless Communications Technician (TRN) ASTROA 25 Series Certs
    PHYSICAL DEMANDS
    * If required to provide Tower and Antenna Support & Inspections:
    o Must pass a physical exam and have a fit for duty pass
    o Excellent physical conditioning and stamina
    o Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally and walk short distances
    o Must be able to climb ladders
    o Must be able to climb towers
    * Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and reach
    * Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English
    * May require frequent computer use for several hours at a time
    * Frequently work at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions
    * Must have visual acuity
    * Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
