    Inspirational Family Radio is a Boise-based media company that includes two McCall-area music radio stations: KDZY 98.3 FM Superstar Country,and KUJJ Star 95.5 FM. Our stations can be heard in Valley, Adams, and Washington counties, including cities such as McCall, Donnelly, Cascade, New Meadows, Cambridge, and Council.

    We are seeking to expand our sales team with a qualified sales representative to sell advertising airtime to businesses in these areas. The sales representative will have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at generating leads, building relationships, and closing transactions.

    The ideal candidate will be both personable and professional, and an adaptive learner who has strong negotiating skills and an ability to showcase the benefits of radio advertising in a compelling way.

    Work Hours, Pay, and Benefits:

    This is a flexible part-time position, typically in the Monday–Friday timeframe with an occasional Saturday, and the pay structure is base pay plus commission. No health/life insurance benefits are available, but paid vacation time is included.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Focus sales efforts by studying the businesses of existing and potential business clients and adjusting content of sales presentations accordingly.
    • Serve advertising clients by preparing and selling airtime packages tailored to their needs and resources, and writing their scripts.
    • Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing and potential clients.
    • Submit orders in the automated radio broadcasting system.
    • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
    • Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
    • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
    • Grow professional and technical knowledge by participating in RAB (Radio Advertising Bureau) educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks.
    • Maintain records about area and customer sales.
    • Contribute to and participate in team efforts, projects, and events.
