Responsibilities

• Develop treatment plans including IMRT, VMAT, 3D conformal, and electron as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.
• Develop dose-volume constraint tables used in analyzing treatment plans.
• Calculate monitor units for both photon and electron treatment plans as a secondary monitor unit check for the treatment plans. 
• Responsible for documenting and charging associated codes for treatment planning and delivery. 
• Assist with day-to-day activities associated with the operation of the department.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

• Post Graduate Degree in medical dosimetry 
• Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) registration required 
  • Or able to maintain Medical Dosimetrist Certification within 12 months of hire
• Basic Life Support – BLS certification  

Preferred Job Requirements

• Experience with treatment planning software and electronic medical record keeping
• Experience with Varian Aria and Eclipse
