Title:
Mid-Level Physicist - Secret KBR is seeking a Mid-Level Physicist to join our team in Kihei, HI. Responsibilities: * Develops technology and solve problems in areas such as image reconstruction, adaptive optics, lasers, imaging through turbulence.
* Plans and conducts scientific experiments and studies to test system performance.
* Performs mathematical calculations to analyze sensor data.
* Develops computer software to analyze and model data.
* Supports experiments and testing of novel Space Domain Awareness capabilities. Required Qualifications: * B.S. in STEM or related field
* Minimum of 8 years' experience in imaging system design, operation, maintenance and control of adaptive optics and wavefront sensing systems,
* Demonstrated experience in design, assembly, troubleshooting and maintenance of optical and laser systems
* Broad background in physical sciences
* Familiarity with the USAF and US Space Force space control/space domain awareness mission area
