The City of Goodyear is looking for Youth Sports Recreation Leaders and Youth Sports Site Supervisors. Youth recreation leaders provide sports site support such as field/equipment setup, supervising games, providing customer service to patrons, administering basic first aid, and assisting with field/equipment tear down. Youth Sports Site Supervisors supervise practices and games, assign staff roles and duties, enforce rules and code of conduct, provide daily reports, and assist with setup and tear down. Both positions may also referee games for soccer, volleyball, and basketball. These positions typically work weekday evenings from 4:30 - 9:30 PM and Saturdays, 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM.

Only a limited number of the most highly qualified applicants meeting the City’s requirements will be invited for an interview. Examination process for this position will include: Panel Interview.
Experience working in a youth/adult sports setting is highly preferred. Background in sports, such as soccer, volleyball, basketball, and/or flag football preferred. Some college or equivalent experience preferred. Must provide proof of CPR and First Aid Certifications within one month of hire date.
