The Parks & Recreation Department is currently accepting applications for the seasonal position of Bitty Sports Supervisor. The Bitty Sports Supervisor will work independently and/or co-teach the bitty sports program for children between the ages of 2.5 to 6 years old at various locations throughout the City of Liberty. Salary and Benefits

  • Saturday 8am - 12pm

Essential Functions

• Work with youth demonstrating techniques of a variety of sports
• Assist in planning and coordinating program lesson plans and set-up
• Maintain conditions of utilized facility, as well as a safe and supervised environment
• Provide on-site supervision of all participants during scheduled program
• Work various times and dates: Flexible hours dependent on the program’s needs
• Attend to minor accidents and emergency situations

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Experience in youth programs, athletics and/or appropriate areas such as recreation, physical education or coaching preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Possession of a valid driver’s license required
• Possession of or ability to obtain First Aid Certificate and CPR Training within three months of hire
