Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the retail store, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
- Supervise and train a team of employees, providing guidance and support as needed
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, implementing effective inventory control measures
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Conduct interviews and make hiring decisions based on qualifications and fit for the team
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any customer complaints or issues
- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and customers
Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory experience in a retail setting preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive shopping experience
- Proficient in inventory control practices and procedures
- Knowledge of retail math for accurate cash handling and sales reporting
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with phone etiquette for professional communication
