Racing and Sports Manager jobs in Birmingham, AL
Racing and Sports Manager manages and directs the racing and sports book daily activities. Oversees racing and sports betting and ensures compliance with federal and state gaming regulations. Being a Racing and Sports Manager may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Racing and Sports Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. The Event Staff position duties may include but are not limited to, assisting guests with helmets, buckling customers into race cars, taking photos and more.
Some things you should keep in mind before applying:
- You will be working track side at Talladega Superspeedway with NASCAR Racing Experience.
- We need people that are 18 years of age and older,
- Enjoy working outdoors
- Positive attitude while working with the public.
- Position is Seasonal and mostly on weekends
- Training is provided, no previous experience is required.
