RFP Manager oversees the development of proposals, bids, quotations, RFP responses, or other documents describing organizational products and services in response to requests from prospective clients. Manages and meets proposal deadlines by establishing project priorities and due dates for the proposal. Being an RFP Manager collaborates and coordinates with internal contributors and subject matter experts to ensure content is complete, accurate, and maximizes business opportunities. Develops and establishes a repository of templates, standard language, product collateral, exhibits, and other data resources to create high-quality and accurate responses. Additionally, RFP Manager establishes a tracking system with win-loss information. Reviews and analyzes RFP losses to recommend enhancements to products or processes. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The RFP Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an RFP Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. - Assisting theatre General Manager with various duties and marketing projects
- Supervising and accounting for safe handling of cash, including regular deposits
- Assist General Manager in hiring, training and supervising all employees
- Displaying a positive, helpful and patient attitude toward customers and employees
- Providing a clean and safe environment for customers and employees
- Ensuring the correct preparation and timely submission of all required reports
- Knowledge of concession operations, including inventory control, ordering, food preparation and the promotion of sales
- Proper and safe operation and maintenance of equipment
- Performing related duties as assigned
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions, including all company policies
- Ability to lift up to fifty pounds, climb stairs, count money, visually inspect property and inventory and work extended hours
- Ability to recognize and own challenges and to search for viable solutions
