RFP Manager jobs in Michigan
RFP Manager oversees the development of proposals, bids, quotations, RFP responses, or other documents describing organizational products and services in response to requests from prospective clients. Manages and meets proposal deadlines by establishing project priorities and due dates for the proposal. Being an RFP Manager collaborates and coordinates with internal contributors and subject matter experts to ensure content is complete, accurate, and maximizes business opportunities. Develops and establishes a repository of templates, standard language, product collateral, exhibits, and other data resources to create high-quality and accurate responses. Additionally, RFP Manager establishes a tracking system with win-loss information. Reviews and analyzes RFP losses to recommend enhancements to products or processes. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The RFP Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an RFP Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Requirements
- Multi-unit restaurant operations leadership experience in the QSR segment
- Proven sustainable success in scoring above system averages in key operation metrics
- A track record of distinguished accomplishments in prior employment
- Recent restaurant opening experience
- Assertive, self-directed leader
- Strong analytical skills and an ability to take action based on data
- Effective recruiter and developer of people
- A valid Driver’s License and a good driving record
