Additionally, RFP Analyst, Sr. typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The RFP Analyst, Sr. work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. As a Data Analyst Sr within PNC's Enterprise Data Management organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, Strongsville, Birmingham or Dallas.

    The preferred candidate for this position will have a mix of Data Management knowledge, a working knowledge of Governance (Policy and Procedure), and some Risk Management knowledge.

    This position will be responsible for:
    Managing Governance functions tied to Enterprise Data Governance Policies and Procedures
    Working closely with stakeholders on Data Quality, Metadata, and the Entprise Critical Data Program
    Coordinate materials and delvierables for Audit a Regulatory purposes

    Candidates should have some basic technology, and data management knowledged. A background in Banking and Banking Operations would be ideal but not required.

    Job Description

    • Manages and develops information systems for clients; conducts data information analysis for a variety of studies under the direction of organizational standards.
    • Advises end-users on data manipulation, end-user support systems and statistical analysis.
    • Selects new information sources and acquires stock. Catalogs and indexes new materials.
    • Implements and supports technologies for managing and effectively utilizing multiple information sources, formats and uses.
    • Researches customers needs, conducts awareness and promotional sessions for potential customers.

    IT Environment - Knowledge of an organization's IT purposes, activities and standards; ability to create an effective IT environment for business operations.

    Modeling: Data, Process, Events, Objects - Knowledge of and the ability to use tools and techniques for analyzing and documenting logical relationships among data, processes or events.

    Requirements Analysis - Knowledge of methods and techniques to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements; ability to analyze these requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.

    Work Experience

    Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3 years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
