RFP Analyst, Sr. develops proposals, bids, quotations, RFP responses, or other documents describing organizational products and services in response to requests from prospective clients. Collaborates and coordinates with internal contributors and subject matter experts to ensure content is complete, accurate, and maximizes business opportunities. Being an RFP Analyst, Sr. prepares and maintains a repository of templates, standard language, and product collateral or exhibits. May prepare custom response content for complex or unique inquiries. Additionally, RFP Analyst, Sr. typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The RFP Analyst, Sr. work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Grant and RFP Manager

  • Reporting to the Executive Leadership Team, the Grants and RFP Manager is responsible for the overall management and direction of the Grant and RFP Writing and Compliance teams. They will be responsible for reviewing work, coaching team members, and coordinating tasks to ensure that all deadlines and deliverables are being met. They will represent both teams in meetings with clients and will be responsible for determining a client’s needs and allocating work to team members to ensure that all projects are completed.


    This is a remote full-time position. This position is expected to work between 32 hours per week, which may include travel in order to attend client meetings or events. Compensation for this position is $38 to $42 dollars an hour, depending on experience. Candidates will be accepted in Washington State only.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Supports proposal development activities for grants, contracts, Request for Proposals, or other funding mechanism for the Company or Company’s Clients.
    • Creates schedules and tracking calendars.
    • Attends client meetings as needed.
    • May register the Company or Company’s Clients in application portals or procurement systems.
    • May schedule and participate in Client or Company meetings.
    • Supports post-award compliance, reporting, and other activities on behalf of the Company or the Company’s Clients.
    •  Outlining post-award reporting or compliance needs
    • Support in drafting/reviewing reports
    • Support in drafting/reviewing reimbursement requests, project budgets, and other fiscal documents
    • Support in preparing for audit
    • Support in preparing policies and procedures in line with compliance and reporting needs
    • Acting as a point of contact or intermediary between funders and the Company or it’s Clients.
    • Accomplishes department objectives by managing team members, planning work, and evaluating team performance. 
    • Provides orientation, coaching, and training to new and existing team members as needed. 
    • Ensure a safe, productive work environment for all team members. 
    • Ensure the team is on-track by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. 
    • In cooperation with the Executive Leadership Team, develops and coordinates policies, procedures, and productivity standards. 
    • Establishes strategic goals and deadlines by gathering pertinent information and coordinating with client contacts. 
    • Ensures quality standards by encouraging effective and efficient work and customer standards among all team members.
    • Assists in the tracking of Company and Client projects.
    • Updates project status in the Company’s project tracking system.
    • Organizes documents and files.
    • Prepares reports and updates as requested by the Executive Leadership Team.
    • Participates in team meetings.
    • Works collaboratively with colleagues and freelancers.
    • Participates in training and professional development opportunities.
    • Assures that the Company is professional and in compliance with all policies, regulations, and laws related to proposal development.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    Position Requirements

      • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Public Administration, Communications, or Professional Writing or similar field
      • Two or more years of relevant experience in proposal writing, capacity building or other related fields.
      • Two or more years of post-award compliance and reporting, or other related field.
      • Two or more years of relevant experience in a leadership role. 
      • Two or more years of experience working with community based organizations, non-profit organizations, or local government organizations. 
      • Technical fluency with Microsoft Suite, Adobe DC, and Google.
      • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
      • Ability to pass a background check.
