    CAPTRUST is seeks an RFP Content Associate to join its internal business development and sales enablement team with the primary focus of developing, refining, and organizing content for presentation deliverable needs associated with business development efforts for a rapidly growing and collaborative organization.

     

    CAPTRUST’s marketing strategy is a combination of the high-level activities that include targeted and appropriate messaging communicated through various marketing platforms and applications, media outlets and publications, corporate websites, and presence on social media as well as real-time support for business development opportunities. These activities are based on market intelligence, historical data and trends, and understanding of the opportunity to ensure a successful outcome, which are intended to support the firm’s growth efforts and the needs of its institutional and wealth management clients. Primary responsibilities may include the following, among others:

    Responsibilities

    • Assist with, contribute to, and be responsible for the creation, development, completion, and fulfillment (digital and physical) of the following primary deliverables, at minimum, which are associated with the firm's business development efforts and activity:
      • Request for Proposals
      • Due diligence and security questionnaires
      • Website Platform and portal Request for Proposals questionnaires
      • Narrative templates, cover letters, samples, and other custom designed deliverables
    • Adjust content to multiple variables such as business line, word or character count limitations, and advisory team preferences. Maintain daily and quarterly workflows to discern evergreen content through a web-based content repository, in addition to reviewing, discerning and possibly implementing requested content updates. Review and/or remove outdated content from the digital repository. Collaborate with other internal marketing team members for strategic content development
    • Assist with, contribute to, and be responsible for the formatting of content in addition to alignment, line spacing, graphics, and tables within a web-based platform. Coordinate and utilize all applicable samples and custom materials associated with each business development opportunity
    • Strategic design, testing, and implementation of internal and external platform integrations and developing communications to internal team members and subject matter experts across the firm
    • Assist in the refinement and re-organization of Subject Matter Experts’ bodies of content within a web-based content repository. Support the Subject Matter Expert Logistics team and other RFP administrative efforts

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Successfully demonstrated 2-4 years of experience in business development or similar functioned support roles commensurate with the outlined role responsibilities
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business administration, marketing, project management, or similar degree
    • High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in addition to utilization of SharePoint, Teams, and OneNote

    Desired Attributes and Skills:

    • Understanding and/or utilization of web-based RFP or proposal platforms i.e. Seismic, Responsive / formerly RFPio, Ariba, InHub, RFP360, and other custom web-based RFP platforms
    • Knowledge and awareness of the business development and marketing activities, challenges, and requirements associated with an RIA within the financial services industry specifically for wealth management, retirement plan, and endowment foundation audiences
    • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment
    • Excellent project management and organizational skills necessary with an appropriate level of attention to detail and accountability
    • Proven ability to positively, constructively, and professionally engage and interact with diverse group of colleagues and individuals
    • Demonstrated ability or experience with production, development, or fulfillment of prospect presentation materials
