RFP Analyst develops proposals, bids, quotations, RFP responses, or other documents describing organizational products and services in response to requests from prospective clients. Collaborates and coordinates with internal contributors and subject matter experts to ensure content is complete, accurate, and maximizes business opportunities. Being an RFP Analyst prepares and maintains a repository of templates, standard language, and product collateral or exhibits. May prepare custom response content for complex or unique inquiries. Additionally, RFP Analyst typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The RFP Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.      Qualifications:   

    · Commercial and /or technical training 

    · Engineer or economist with degree specializing in materials management/purchasing with a strong technical understanding 

    · Experience in the specialist’s area of expertise: Parts, Tools, Devices, Capex, MRO, etc.  

      Proficiency:   

    · Experience in managing manufacturing processes, productivity, and efficiency measurements 

    · Product and market knowledge 

    · Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite software (WORD, Excel,PowerPoint, etc.) at intermediate level (minimum). 

    · PC/DP skills - also SAP R3 

    · English language skills 

    · Willingness for customer-oriented cooperation in project management teams 

     Objective of the position:

    Cost, quality and on-time procurement in the associated specialist purchasing areas in the context of the targets
     

    Main duties:

    •   Develop purchasing policies and strategies in-line with the company objectives and
      SMP purchasing global strategies
       
    • Secure approval from management on any policy and/or strategy changes 
    • Plan and manage capital and expense budget 
    • Review and make recommendations to management team for ways to improve procedures and reduce costs 
    • Support Finance, Materials, GSP and other related departments for information
      sharing and request
       
    • Develop and promote purchasing program sourcing policy and strategy aligned with SMP
      Purchasing to support competitive and efficient parts/materials sourcing activity of purchasing operations
       
    • Track in-cycle cost improvement status of purchasing operations and report to
      management.
       
    • Track program purchasing costs and operations with the roadmap/action plan
      progress and report to management
       
    • Track the progress of supplier launch readiness (including TO/PO issues and tooling
      fabrication status)
       
    • Elevate issues to management team as necessary to resolve issues 
    • Detection of synergy potentials  
    • Preparation of purchasing strategies after consultation with specialist departments 
    • Support and participation in projects 
    • Personnel planning and management of subordinate employees

      Special responsibility:
    •  Commitment to achieve the material purchasing goals set in the framework of the budget / project allocations 
    • Compliance with the regulated processes in the quality process instructions for the best possible benefit of the company
