Purchasing Analyst

Responsibilities:
- Purchase Order Management: Create, process, and manage purchase order life cycle.
- Generate and manage purchase orders.
- Follow up on unconfirmed orders and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor and update order status, moving them through the appropriate stages.
- Logistics Coordination:
- Collaborate with the Logistics team to facilitate effective communication to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Provide timely updates on order status, delays, damages, and any associated fees.
- Item and Vendor Set-Up:
- Management of item and vendor set-up.
- Obtain and verify all vendor documentation for accurate record-keeping.
- Documentation Handling:
- Request and collect samples, spec sheets, invoices, credits, certifications, and other relevant documentation from vendors.
- Maintain organized and accessible records of all procurement-related documents.
- Communication with Sales Representatives:
- Notify sales representatives regarding shortages, delays, price differences, and availability.
- Collaborate closely with Sales Representatives to identify and implement necessary changes that enhance the overall customer experience.
- Provide accurate lead time information to support sales activities.
- Reporting
- Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Reporting required.
Education and Experience
- High school education required
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Purchasing-related field or 2-4 years purchasing experience required.
- Microsoft Office experience is required. Proficiency with Outlook and Excel.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Quick and independent problem resolution.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
