    MSSI is seeking a Data Analyst to provide technical support and SharePoint services to our customer by providing data extracts and reports for optimizing program management and projections for Army Depot production requirements. **Extensive expertise in ACCESS, EXCEL, LMP, and other databases who can conduct analysis and help automate the generation of required reports.

    • The data analyst will provide technical support and SharePoint services to our customer by providing data extracts and reports for optimizing program management and projections for Army Depot production requirements.
    • Must be able to expertly create and maintain Excel spreadsheets and the underling Access database tables and queries.
    • Must have a high level of confidence employing Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to create automated solutions in a shared network environment to support mission requirements.
    • Knowledge of working with Access datasets and Excel workbooks to create pivots and advanced reports is a must.
    • Candidate must be able to perform at a very high level in Microsoft Suite and have demonstrated expertise in Excel and Access.
    • Candidates should also be able create Excel Pivot Tables, and Access tables reports and queries,).
    • Extensive expertise in ACCESS, EXCEL, LMP, and other databases who can conduct analysis and help automate the generation of required reports.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    • Adhere to the company’s AS9100 and QMS policies, procedures, and guidelines.

    Responsibilities:

    • Importing data from various sources and formats.
    • Creating Access/Excel solutions.
    • Identify customer data requirements and work with team to meet them.
    • Maintaining SharePoint lists and files.
    • Work with teams from all areas to ensure data sets meet the needs of Army Depots.
    • Provide quality assurance of imported data.

    Desired Skills: In addition to the required skills, it is desirable that the candidate have a working knowledge of the Amy Logistics skill relating to SAP, BEx Query Designer, Business Objects (BOBJ), Power BI, SQL, Tableau, and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).

    Education/Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree with 5 (five) years relevant experience, or
    • High school diploma with 15 years relevant experience in computer science, information systems, business administration, finance, accounting, engineering, or related field.

    Experience

    Required
    • Extensive expertise in ACCESS, EXCEL, LMP, and other databases who can conduct analysis and help automate the generation of required reports.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Products and have a demonstrated fluency in Excel and Access. In addition, familiar and fluent in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
    Preferred
    • It is desired that the candidate possesses and demonstrate knowledge of Logistic modernization Program (LMP), Business Objectives and SAS.
    • High School Diploma or GED and not less than 13 years of experience in logistics or supply; BS/BA degree and not less than 8 years related experience, or an MS/MA degree and not less than 4 years of experience. Technical civilian or military school experience directly related to the equipment in task order requirements may substitute for 2 years of experience.
