Quality Improvement Director - Healthcare leads and directs process and overall quality improvement activities that produce better patient care and more efficient operations. Develops programs to review and evaluate patient care and outcomes. Being a Quality Improvement Director - Healthcare implements a strategy and plans for a quality improvement function within the facility in collaboration with the administrative and clinical leaders of the hospital. Tracks and presents results of improvement efforts and ongoing measures of clinical processes to management. Additionally, Quality Improvement Director - Healthcare requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Quality Improvement Director - Healthcare typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity.     • Coordinates Joint Commission accreditation survey activities.
    • Oversees compliance and readiness activities related to Joint Commission standards, CMS conditions of participation and state regulations.
    • Provides oversight for the organizational Infection Control program and staff.
    • Provides oversight for the organizational Performance Improvement Program and staff.
    • Provides oversight for data abstraction and analysis to support organizational initiatives and meet reporting requirements.
    • Assists in policy development, which addresses process improvements and regulatory compliance.
    • Serves on various committees of the medical staff and hospital organization for regulatory and performance updates and facilitation of information flow.
    • Serves as resource to the organization for standards interpretation.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required, Master's degree in a related field (MBA, Nursing, etc.) preferred.
    • Licensed Registered Nurse is preferred
    • 3 years in a quality management position is a healthcare system or hospital setting is required

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
