    Job Description Summary:
    The Director for Assessment, Evaluation, and Quality Improvement is responsible for managing the School of Nursing's (SoN) Master Evaluation Plan (MEP), updating the NLN Center for Excellence (NLN CE) documents, and monitoring progress of the SON strategic plan. The Director will collect data from each program and Unit in the SoN, organize and analyze it to produce reports and contribute to continuous quality improvement using benchmarks for student, faculty, and program outcomes.

    The Director for Assessment, Evaluation, and Quality Improvement will report to the Dean of the SoN and will serve as an Ex-Officio member on the Faculty Steering committee. The position will be a full-time administrative staff position.

    Job Description:
    Responsibilities

    Implement the KUSON MEP in coordination with the Faculty Steering Committee
    Provide quarterly reports based on MEP, NLN CE, and strategic plan to the Dean, Faculty Steering, and the SON Leadership Team
    Assess and evaluate milestones of the SoN MEP, NLN Center for Excellence, and SoN strategic plan.
    Assist the SON Leadership Team, Steering Committee, and standing committees with annual goal setting and evaluation of progress toward goals.
    Organize, maintain, and analyze data from Student Affairs and Enrollment Management (OSEM), Academic and Faculty Affairs (OAFA), Finance and Business Office, Innovative Partnerships and Practice, Office of Grants and Research (OGR), and Interprofessional Practice, Education, Policy and Research (IPEPR) to demonstrate aggregate student and faculty outcomes.
    Maintain ongoing program evaluation activities as well as annual comprehensive reviews for the BSN (traditional, KUCCP, RN-BSN), MS, DNP, PhD, MSHI, and all certificate programs including data collection, analysis, dissemination and documentation of end-of-semester course/instructor evaluations, exit surveys, alumni surveys, employer surveys; and interpretation/use of evaluation data for continuous improvement of courses and programs.
    Collaborate with staff and leadership in each office/unit to optimize data collection strategies and to improve data outputs from these strategies (e.g., FACT, TAMS, Syllabus Audit and Gap Analysis, Curricular Mapping, etc.)
    Coordinate completion and submission of required reports and activities for accreditation and/or professional organizations, including: CCNE (including self-studies, mid-term and substantive change reports, continuous improvement reports and other reports as needed); KSBN (annual report, site visit, and other reports as needed); Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME) reports as needed (including annual monitoring reports and self-study documents); Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management (CAHIM) reports (including self-study, and other reports as needed)
    Assist faculty and staff with coordination of accreditation site visits to include remaining available during site visits, organizing assessment and evaluation data for reporting, and serving as a resource to faculty, staff, and administration in the preparation of any accreditation activities.
    Coordinate completion and submission of SON surveys including KSBN, AACN, U.S. News and World Report, and other surveys as requested.
    Advise program leaders on curriculum updates/revisions to ensure program outcome measures are maintained.
    Advise program leaders on the extent to which the provided measures and artifacts are the valid measures required by accrediting bodies.
    Other duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications:
    Earned Master or Doctorate with administrative experience in evaluation planning related to academic health program evaluation (nursing preferred)
    Expertise in program evaluation such as the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program (previous accreditation experience preferred)
    Proficiency in use of software such as FACT, TAMS, Curriculum Mapping, Tableau, Qlikview, Power BI, etc.
    Curriculum and data management experience and skills
    Work experience displaying and explaining data for reporting
    Experience with continuous quality improvement

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Strong organization, planning, and evaluation skills
    Strong written communication skills, as evidenced in application materials
    Ability to work collaboratively with members of the faculty, leadership teams, and staff.
