Quality Generalist Manager develops and administers policies and procedures for evaluating and improving the quality of products, materials, components and/or manufacturing processes. Makes recommendations to ensure production runs meet established quality standards and predicted yields. Being a Quality Generalist Manager ensures employees follow established procedures and complete quality assurance work within time and budgetary constraints. May be responsible for ensuring products meet international quality standards such as ISO 9001. Additionally, Quality Generalist Manager works across a variety of quality assurance disciplines. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Quality Generalist Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. CTC is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable HR Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and HR compliance.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Completes full cycle recruiting
· Maintains employee personnel files, storage and retention
· Performs new employee follow ups at 30, 60 and 90 days
· Manages benefits renewals and enrollments
· Reports and manages Worker’s Compensation claims
· Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
· Assists with planning and facilitating company functions
· Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
· Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
· Other clerical duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience
· Knowledgeable in State and Federal Employment Law including but not limited too - Worker’s Compensation, ADA, and FLSA
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in a HR role in a small business setting
· Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities at one time
· Sense of urgency in all aspects of duties including hiring, employee benefits and issues
· Ability to speak and communicate in a professional and effective manner
