Client: Truck Assembly Plant

(Person will be supervising quality inspectors and techs in a truck assembly plant)

Springfield, OH 100% on site – not interested in remote workers*

6 months CONTRACT

Hours: Mon-Fri 6:30 am -4:00 pm

US Citizen or Green Card required**

PASS Background & Drug Test

Production and quality experience of quality inspectors is required!!!

Minimum Requirements:

At least 5 years of quality inspection experience

OR

At least 3 years of quality inspection experience with a Bachelors’ degree**

Position Overview: Quality Control (QC) Inspection Supervisor

Seeking a Quality Control (QC) Inspection Supervisor to join our Springfield Assembly Plant. The supervisor will ensure production areas are meeting quality standards during the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities: Quality Control (QC) Inspection Supervisor:

Leads and support QA Inspectors & Mechanical Techs to ensure inspections and repairs performed correctly

• Ensures PDI Center shift consistently maintains high level of inspection quality and adheres safety policies
• Accountable for shop floor activity that contributes to the completion of the planned workload
• Manage flow of all inspection work, repair completion, data capture and communication with service auditors
• Contact manager and plant quality / manufacturing managers regarding unusual repairs of vehicles

Ensure efficient flow of vehicles through inspection process (vehicles picked up, tracked, delivered on time)

• Keep abreast of all inspection and rework criteria and product changes
• Provide on-the-job tech support for auditors and technicians
• Ensure that inspections and reworks are recorded / documented; tech’ comments descriptive and precise
• Understand and keep abreast of regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA, EPA, etc.
• Maintain safe / clean work environment. Ensure inspectors wear PPE. Ensure proper tool use, care, storage.
• Attending all PDI Department staff meetings as required. Explain reworks to plant quality organization.
