Quality Control Supervisor
Job Summary:
Quality Control Supervisor works in a manufacturing setting with the responsibility of ensuring quality in all goods produced by Healthcare Arizona, LLC. To be successful in this role, you should be able to work with consistent speed and accuracy. An outstanding QC Supervisor should be able to continuously improve as well as maintain quality standards & procedures.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Enforce safety regulations.
- Over See Quality Control Team
- Keep records of employees' attendance and hours worked.
- Approving Timecards
- Approving/Denying Time off Requests
- Plan and establish work schedules and assignments to meet goals and expectations.
- Conduct employee training in equipment operations or work and safety procedures or assign employee training to experienced workers.
- Evaluate employee performance.
- Confer with management and Human Resources to resolve worker problems or complaints.
- Recommend or execute personnel actions, such as new hire interview/selection, evaluations, or recommend promotions where appropriate.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Asist in the development of a quality management system according to ISO: 9001 standards.
- Ensure that QMS processes are established, implemented, and maintained.
- Perform internal audits to identify necessary improvements to the QMS.
- Develop and coordinate quality control training procedures.
- Store & control documents to ensure a strong organizational structure within the quality department.
- Communicate the results of data analysis and put forward corrective suggestions.
- Write reports to document deficiencies and errors of products.
- Ensure customer requirements are satisfied.
- Maintain and perform data analysis on lab test & inspection records.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of both imperial and metric systems of measurement.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control processes.
- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language.
- Knowledge of ISO: 9001
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Good team player who can perform efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Skilled at conveying information effectively.
- Skilled at monitoring/assessing performance standards to make improvements or take corrective action.
- Skilled at managing one's own time.
- Ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
- Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED
- One-year experience working in a Quality Assurance role is highly preferred.
- Excellent written & oral communication skills.
- 2 years leadership experience in manufacturing setting preferred.
- Bilingual in English/Mandarin or English/Spanish is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Medium work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
- Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
- Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
- Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and make fine discriminations in sound.
- The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work.
- The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
- The worker is subject to noise: There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above the ambient noise level.

- Day Shift (7am-5:30pm)
