Quality Control Manager manages the inspection and testing of materials, parts, and products to ensure adherence to established quality standards. - Formulate and administer the quality control program in accordance with the company's Quality Control Manual, code requirements, and client engineering specifications.
- Maintain compliance of company's ASME and NBIC certifications and lead triennial review of said certifications.
- Coordinate the quality inspection activities of inspectors, supervisors and quality control team.
- Produce customer Data Packages for each project/job per QC Manual specifications.
- Administer continuing surveillance of all craft disciplines of QA/QC inspection team to assure that high-quality standards or workmanship are maintained and conformed to code and approved engineering drawings/specifications in all areas.
- Develop additional quality procedures as required to incorporate special tests, audits or to improve total manufacturing and repair processes.
- Uphold compliance to ASME weld procedures and train others in QC measurements, weld procedures, materials traceability and all other ASME documentation requirements including shop traveler generation, ITPs and data reports.
