    The Construction Quality Assurance Quality Control Manager is responsible for managing and performing the daily QA QC responsibilities of specific projects to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with the construction specifications. The Construction Quality Assurance Quality Control Manager role includes direct oversight and review of the entire documentation, and physical inspections are conducted in accordance with the Quality Assurance Quality Control project plan., but are not limited to:

    Responsibilities:

    • The Construction Quality Assurance Quality Control Manager is responsible for managing and performing the daily QA QC responsibilities of specific projects to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with the construction specifications
    • The Construction Quality Assurance Quality Control Manager role includes direct oversight and review of the entire documentation, and physical inspections are conducted in accordance with the Quality Assurance Quality Control project plan
    • Have a thorough and complete knowledge and understanding of the contract, each subcontract and the plans and specifications to assist the project manager and superintendents in the development of the on-site procedures
    • Create, update and maintain the project submittal log and all other project-specific Quality Assurance Quality Control reports
    • Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance with project specifications by direct review and by leveraging the knowledge and experience of others in the project team when necessary
    • Conduct and document weekly QA QC meetings with the superintendent and provide written minutes as described in project-specific contract documents
    • Provide daily QA QC reports that reinforce activities that are being constructed in conformance with each specific project's established standard and constructively confront non-conformances to produce the desired outcome in a timely manner
    • Place all reports into Procore
    • Conduct preparatory, initial and follow-up meetings to establish an understanding of the standards of care desired for each definable feature of work
    • Verify and document that all materials received for the project are in conformance with the approved submittal, are handled and stored appropriately and are acceptable for use in the project
    • Coordinate and document the testing and commissioning of building systems
    • Provide training to Project Managers and Superintendents in addition to trade partners
    • Perform Quality Assurance Quality Control testing and inspection in adherence with contract requirements and company best practices
    • Supervisory experience developing and implementing Quality Assurance Quality Control Programs to ensure compliance with contract document
    • Lead by example by establishing the work ethic guidelines for the entire team and, therefore establishes the boundaries and expectations

    Qualifications:

    • Must be able to physically walk, climb, move, around a large active construction site, on a weekly basis
    • Shall have had prior Quality Assurance Quality Control experience on a project of comparable size and scope as the Project responsibilities
    • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Architecture or Construction
    • Construction materials technician certified Level III by NICET
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience with an emphasis with MEP and building envelope projects
    • Strive to create synergy and a teamwork atmosphere with the Project Level Staff
    • Promote and support career development of Project Engineers

    In addition to the above-listed minimum requirements, candidates who possess the following skills, experience, and capabilities may receive more significant consideration during the evaluation process:

    · OSHA 30 Certification

    · Project Scheduling Experience

    · Thorough knowledge of Airport Construction

    · Document Control Experience

    · Capable of successfully solving complex contracts and contract-related technical problems requiring excellent judgment

    · Bilingual (English/Spanish) no required
