    Job Summary:

    The Quality Control Manager plans, coordinates, and directs the quality assurance program and formulates quality control policies. Ensures that the services we provide are consistent and meet both external and internal requirements to include legal compliance and customer expectations. Monitors and advises on the performance of the quality management system, produces data and reporting on performance measured against set standards

    Job Duties:

    • Ensure all quality and compliance contract requirements are met, and robust monitoring and quality processes inform development and training and delivery requirements.
    • Lead on and support the management team to ensure compliance and quality requirements are met, matrix and other key audits are or relevant inspections/audits.
    • Identify common areas of concern, to with the Project Manager/Senior Management undertake remedial action and escalate as appropriate.
    • Deliver routinely quality and compliance training and development to the team
    • Assists, set, and conducts training
    • Manages the development, evaluation and upgrading of quality compliance programs.
    • Assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final output.
    • Reports deficiencies to Project Manager.
    • Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data.
    • Review current standards and policies, as directed by the contract
    • Keeps records of quality reports, statistical reviews, and relevant documentation, to meet specific milestones as required by contact.
    • Follow, maintain, update the Quality Control Plan as required.

    Skills, Abilities and Requirements:

    • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to increase skill level in this area.
    • Attention to detail with emphasis on problem-solving and high-quality work product.
    • Requires strong organizational skills and the ability to complete multiple complex tasks in a timely fashion.
    • Requires incumbent to be self-motivated to independently work to complete multiple projects/tasks in a timely and accurate fashion.
    • Demonstrated project management skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, and coordination
    • 3 years of Quality Assurance Management experience, degree in Business Quality Management or related field
    • OSHA 30 HR Construction Safety Qualified (Preferred)
    • First Aide / CPR certified
    • Must be able to interact cordially and productively with a variety of people.
    • Must be able to market Goodwill and explain the mission to the general public.
    • Must establish and maintain effective working relationships with, and among, all personnel.
    • Must be able to work occasionally long or extended hour, including weekends.
    • Must have working knowledge of MS Office.
    • Must be able to tolerate extreme heat and temperature changes.
    • Must maintain the confidentiality of all information housed in the department.
    • Must be insurable through the Company’s automotive liability carrier.
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain credentials to access state government, federal military/government facilities.
    • Must be able to function in a hectic work environment with occasional periods of high stress.
    • Must be able to manage multiple priorities.
    • Must be able to see, hear, bend, stoop, crouch, climb, etc. to conduct thorough site inspections.
    • Must be authorized to drive on Company business and have necessary documentation on file in the Human Resources department authorizing driving.
    • Must be able to pass criminal background checks as required by each contract site.
