    Impyrian is hiring a Construction Quality Control Manager for our Federal Construction Group. The position is located in Durham, North Carolina to support multiple task orders for our IDIQ contract at NIEHS RTP as well as our IDIQ contract in Jacksonville, NC.

    Position Summary:

    The Construction Quality Control Manager will spearhead our efforts to maintain the highest quality standards across multiple construction projects in the Research Triangle area. This role demands a proactive individual adept at developing and implementing quality control strategies, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction quality assurance, with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.


    Position Responsibilities:


    Develop, implement, and oversee quality control procedures and standards for construction projects.

    Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

    Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address quality-related issues promptly.

    Review materials, processes, and workmanship to ensure compliance with project specifications.

    Lead the preparation and maintenance of quality control documentation, including reports, inspection logs, and corrective action plans.

    Manage and mentor quality control staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

    Stay abreast of industry trends, codes, and regulations relevant to construction quality control.

    Position Requirements:


    Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field, with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in construction quality control or assurance.

    Strong understanding of construction standards, codes, and methodologies.

    Proven ability to lead a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Proficiency in construction management and quality assurance software.

    OSHA 30 certification; additional certifications in quality control/assurance preferred.

    Ability to travel as needed within the Research Triangle area.
