Quality Control Inspector performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of products. Inspects materials, parts and products at different stages of production. Being a Quality Control Inspector records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Quality Control Inspector typically reports to a supervisor. The Quality Control Inspector may require 0-1 year of general work experience. The QC Inspector will be responsible to inspect products coming into the facility, in the facility and outgoing orders for quality and condition.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., ability to stand for prolonged periods, lift, bend, twist, squat, reach and grasp.
Knowledge of general fresh produce quality
Current forklift experience.
Proficient knowledge of BC.
Excellent ability to work as a team and self-driven.
Good attention to details and product quality.
Able to follow directions verbally and written.
Must be able to work in a refrigerated environment from 34 F to 55 F depending on the cooler.
