Quality Control Inspector

We have a full-time, permanent position available in our Structural Steel Manufacturing department on our 1st shift Monday through Friday 7:00AM to 3:30PM.

Qualified candidates should have following credentials:

• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and utilize same for visual and dimensional check of fabricated structural pieces
• Hold a valid AWS CWI certification or ability to obtain certification in order to inspect welds on structural members in accordance with D1.1.
• Hold a NDT UT Level I or II and MT certifications or ability to obtain certifications to perform necessary nondestructive testing.
• Must be able to handle computer tablets used to assist and document inspection.
• Must to able to work on your feet for most of the shift and able to readily move around structural members to perform inspection.

Cives New England Div is located in Augusta, Maine and is the largest supplier of fabricated structural steel in New England; we provide steel for large commercial and industrial projects. Our workload is steady and continuous year-round.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
